(More customer reviews)While I do understand the other reviews of this grater, I believe their displeasure is a bit overstated. The grater is compact (which is a plus for me) and if one has smaller hands I can certainly see why it might be difficult to grip. That said, if one holds it with fingers pressing on the cheesy bit and palm on the very bottom (I suppose it looks upside down in this orientation) it works wonderfully. As you can tell, I had no problems holding it at all. Considering others in this category with levers and cranks flailing about, this grater is a welcome design that fits easily in a drawer and makes short work of a block of romano. As for the lack of included instructions, I'm not entirely sure how one would benefit from a technical manual on the finer aspect of cheese grating.
