(More customer reviews)I decided to give all my friends a different baked good every month for a whole year. Since many of the planned goodies are going to be in loaf form, I decided to buy two sets of these loaf pans - I didn't want to spend too much money, and the price was good. I am very pleased with the product. I have baked several batches of various kinds of breads and cakes in them, and every time, they bake up perfectly even. The pan heats evenly, so there are no burnt or under-cooked areas. They are also quite heavy, which probably contributes to the even baking. The size is perfect for a loaf for two. I can highly recommend these pans.

Fat Daddio's 9 Inch x 5 Inch x 2 3/4 Inch Loaf Pan Review

(More customer reviews)For quite a while I've been looking for wide loaf pan with straight sides. If you've ever seen Aunt Millie's "hearth" breads you know what kind of shape I have in mind. This pan is the closest thing. The sides are not quite straight - it is about quarter inch wider on top then it is on the bottom, and it is nowhere near promised 2 3/4" in height, 2 3/8" is more like it, but it fits the bill. The construction is not particularly sturdy - it is made of 1 mm aluminum, so I expect it will get its fair share of dings with time. I also would not dream of baking bread in it without thoroughly greasing the walls - just for a test, I left an ungreased spot the first time I used it and had hell of time extracting the bread from the pan. One other thing to note is that it is slightly smaller than regular 9x5 pan, 55 vs. 64 oz, so some recipes might need to be adjusted.
So this loaf pan has its issues, but all in all I am pretty happy with it.

Fat Daddio's Anodized Aluminum Bread Pans Review

(More customer reviews)I could not wait to try the "Fat Daddio's" pans after reading the really favorable reviews. Well I'm here to say, they are excellent! My Banana & Pumpkin breads baked perfectly. The crust was nicely browned...just right. The baked quick breads just fell out of the pans. No sticking. I did spray them with Bakers Joy. For the price paid, these pans are a wonderful value. My only gripe, was the made in China label. Still in all they are well made, sturdy pans.

(More customer reviews)I got a gonga on this pan so I bought 9! I made cranberry nut bread and wrapped it up with a big bow as a Christmas gift for teachers and neighbors. One neighbor returned the pan because it was such a nice pan she thought she should!
I think it may be a bit bigger than your average pan so just check your bread a little earlier as it will cook a little faster.
