(More customer reviews)This blender, supposedly noted for its ability to chop ice and make smoothies, is not very good at either. I make a post-workout smoothie with this machine five times a week and I spend more time stirring my frozen berries with a wooden spoon trying to get them in just the right place where the blades will do what they're supposed to do then I do using the blender. I should say I USED to use this blender to make smoothies but the sealing ring came apart after only a dozen hot water hand washes. And that's when the really bad things started happening. I went on the Kalorik website to order a replacement sealing ring and, knowing how poorly made they are, thought it prudent to order a few. At check out I was astonished to see that I was being charged $4.99 for EACH $1.99, one ounce rubber ring! I sent three emails to customer service inquiring about whether that was standard policy or if it was a mistake. I NEVER HEARD BACK. I finally called customer service and spoke with someone who promised me there was an error and that he would get my replacement parts out to me. My credit card was charged that night. Now, here it is THREE WEEKS LATER and I'm still waiting. I call customer service again and, turns out, they never shipped the replacement parts! I very much wish I had never bought this blender. It's not very good and when something goes wrong you'll be out of luck. Best to look elsewhere for quality products and quality customer service. In short, Kalorik = fail.
