(More customer reviews)I like the press. Definitely worth it if you intend to make a lot of tomato sauce. I make it for the winter and it's much faster as opposed to the hand crank. My only problem was that the first one I received was put together so tightly that I could not take it apart. Called the vendor and the customer service representative was really nice and had a replacement out to me the same week as she knew I had the tomatos already. The only compliant I have is that even though the customer service rep did everything in her power, the warehouse did not send a return number to have the old one picked up for over three weeks. Thus, I had the old one in my house for quite a while wondering if I was going to get billed for two machines and then have to deal with the credit card company about that.

Italian Tomato Press Review

(More customer reviews)I bought and used this Tomato Press and certainly didn't get the results they show in the photograph. Instead this Tomato press wasted a majority of the tomato (it separated much more than just skin and seeds), all that came down the slide was liquid - essentially it was a 'juicer'. I can't recommend this item to anyone and am now actively looking for one that really works of a a different brand.
BTW, the box it is packed in is really flimsy and the design of the unit is very crude at best. Despite how it looks in the photograph it is made essentially of what looks like pressed tin.

Progressive International Collapsible Canning Funnel, Green Review

(More customer reviews)I love this collapsable funnel. I am a kitchen gadget junkie and in the scheme of things, this is hardly a high tech gadget but it gets the job done exactly as I needed. The best part is that when I am done it collapses into a much smaller package so that it is easily stored in the drawer. As a bonus, it also offers a piece that fits onto the bottom which serves to strain whatever is being funneled. Perhaps it made note of this on the description but I missed it so this was a nice surprise.

(More customer reviews)I purchased my squeezo 3 on a garage sale and used it for the first time this year. What a easy piece to work with. All metal you know it will last. All I had to do was quarter the apples and cook till soft and run them through. This worked so well, the kids even joined in. It at times would start pushing the sauce out of the scrap end, but I removed the screen and cleaned it and we started again.

Presto 85622 pressure cooker rack. Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this because I have a 10" Fagor pressure cooker that didn't come with a canning insert, and the only one they offer is specifically made for 4 pint jars. This will work for me (haven't canned with it yet) because it fits about 1 or 1 1/2 inches from the bottom of the cooker. It doesn't quite sit all the way--it get sandwiched by the apparently sloping sides of the pot. But it will still serve its purpose, albeit with my losing about an inch of headroom.

(More customer reviews)I hated the canning rack that came with our canning set because there was a large gap between the "spokes" and half pint size jars fell through into the hot water bath. We make a lot of jelly in half pint size jars, and this rack is PERFECT! Gosh, but it makes life so much easier to use this flat, multi-wire rack to give my half pint jars a hot water bath. Well worth the cost of buying, as we never worry about the jars falling through and breaking (or becoming lost in the bottom of the canner during the bath process). I don't understand the other reviewer's concerns about the "spokes" getting in the way - that has never been a problem for us. We have had no problems with rust either. FYI, all sizes of jars fit on the rack, I just focused on 1/2 pint jars because that's what makes this rack so useful to us. Recommended.

I love making all kinds of homemade soups and just wasn't happy with those chinese containers that you always wind up using. I needed something more worthy to hold my soups. The lids are very secure and air tight and the body of the container is a thicker and more solid plastic. I think you will be happy with these freezer containers just as much as I am. As a matter of fact I gave a set to my girlfriend and she loves them too!! Buy a couple and give as gifts. Your friends who cook will love you for it. Great value for the price. Will last forever.

Presto Pressure Canner Sealing Ring Review

(More customer reviews)I keep having to replace the rings every 6 months because they shrink and then they don't do their job. I have a Presto canner and if there was a better ring that fits (which I don't think there is) I would get it. My friend has a Mirro canner and she used it for 15 years and never had to replace the ring. I wish the Mirro ring fit into my Presto canner, but it doesn't.

(More customer reviews)I don't know why I lived without it! It sits beautifully in the mouth of the jar and the wide hole lets the food fall right into the jar like it wasn't there. Ladles seem to know just when to drip so it hits the side of the jar. You can almost hear them laughing at you. This funnel ends that! No more food running down the side of the canning jar. No more messy, sticky rims that need to be carefully cleaned before placing the lid. And it cleans very easily. I highly recommend it.
