(More customer reviews)I like the press. Definitely worth it if you intend to make a lot of tomato sauce. I make it for the winter and it's much faster as opposed to the hand crank. My only problem was that the first one I received was put together so tightly that I could not take it apart. Called the vendor and the customer service representative was really nice and had a replacement out to me the same week as she knew I had the tomatos already. The only compliant I have is that even though the customer service rep did everything in her power, the warehouse did not send a return number to have the old one picked up for over three weeks. Thus, I had the old one in my house for quite a while wondering if I was going to get billed for two machines and then have to deal with the credit card company about that.

Italian Tomato Press Review

(More customer reviews)I bought and used this Tomato Press and certainly didn't get the results they show in the photograph. Instead this Tomato press wasted a majority of the tomato (it separated much more than just skin and seeds), all that came down the slide was liquid - essentially it was a 'juicer'. I can't recommend this item to anyone and am now actively looking for one that really works of a a different brand.
BTW, the box it is packed in is really flimsy and the design of the unit is very crude at best. Despite how it looks in the photograph it is made essentially of what looks like pressed tin.

Now I am without my money or the gross used meat grinder. I am so annoyed by this that I do not think I will purchase from Amazon again. The one star is because I cannot give 0.

I decided to get a new one because several parts on the old one are showing the wear. The new one came with several parts missing and one part that didn't work with this model. When I tried to call the customer service, the number with disconnected. I had to return it through Amazon.

My husband suggested I try it for tomato sauce as he likes a hearty, thick semi-chunky sauce. So I tried if for that too, and the sauce came out thick like puree after cooking. Highly recommended, great time saver.

the machine is well built, and the instructions were made designed the way you could follow them easily. most products i buy, the instructions do not have empathy for the user who must assemble and use the product.
it worked great on the tomatoes. the seeds, peels and core came out the "discard end" and the pure "pulp juice" came out the front. i processed 200 tomatoes without a problem. bang for the buck, you can't beat the production this machine will give you the tomato season

Victorio VKP250 Model 250 Food Strainer and Sauce Maker Review

(More customer reviews)This is the best thing in the kitchen for home processing of fruits and vegetables. Bought it for tomatoes to make sauce and juice, but after reading booklet found out other uses such as raspberry juice (we use for homemade ice cream) I used to strain the berries through cheese cloth and clean pantyhose to get out seeds, but with this not only do i get clean juice but more of it as you can reprocess the "waste" several times. I would highly recommend this item. Save yourself the trouble and just buy the extra screens when you purchase the base kit.
