Tribest GS-2000-220V Green Star GS-2000 Complete 220V Review

Tribest GS-2000-220V Green Star GS-2000 Complete 220V
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
As advertised, this item requires disassembly and immediate cleaning. It also works slowly, as advertised. All tools necessary for cleaning are included. The chopping and squeezing of the food between two spiral gears is a much different method than the shred and spin type which is common for most counter top juicers, so I was surprised at how much I needed to adjust my expectations. But the advantage that this GS-2000 has over the other type is that it can handle grasses and leafy greens, so I am comfortable with the slower process.
I bought the item used, and after several uses I began to imagine why the original owner wanted to sell it. It requires time to use and much more time to clean, something that cannot be put off until later. Still, as it is not an inexpensive item, I feel I made a good choice, particularly as I was able to save money while getting the equipment I wanted.

Waring PJE101 Quite White Juice Extractor Review

Waring PJE101 Quite White Juice Extractor
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought one of these in 1977. And it's still in excellent condition after about a million (more or less) glasses of juice. What more can you ask?
Well, perhaps easier cleaning. Pulp gets wedged in the basket and you need a stiff brush to get it loose. Some dishwashers will do the trick, but you may end up scrubbing. Thus four instead of five stars.
If you need to make more than two glasses of juice, you'll probably have to stop and empty the basket of pulp before continuing. The Champion juicer spits out the pulp while juicing and might be a better choice for those who have large families.
Nevertheless, this Waring juicer (they bought out the old Acme brand) gets every drop of juice from your veggies and fruit. Don't even consider a cheaper juicer, as you'll pay the price in needing more produce to come up with a good glass of juice. Bon Apetit!

Carrots, celery, beets, cucumbers, apples--all vegetables and fruits, with the exception of citrus, go into this powerful 550-watt compact juicer's feed chute and come out the spout as pure, fresh juice. (For citrus fruits, you must purchase a separate attachment.) A stainless-steel blade chops the vegetables and fruits, and centrifugal force, just as high-school physics teachers promise, spins the juice from the pulp and through a strainer before it pours from the spout. Disposable paper filters (included), useful for soft fruits, can be placed inside the strainer to further filter juice. You can employ the pulp to flavor soups, casseroles, breads, cakes, and sauces, or it can go into the compost pile. Twisting off the cover opens the juicer for simple disassembly and cleaning. The stainless-steel bowl can go into the dishwasher, but other parts must be hand washed. The juicer is 11-1/2 inches high and 9-1/4 inches wide. Features:
Voltage 550 watts
Stainless steel & polycarbonate housing
Stainless steel Bowl
Stainless steel Blade
Juice capacity: 30 oz.
Speed settings: On and Off

220 Volt Braun MP80 Juice Exractor- WILL NOT WORK IN THE USA Review

220 Volt Braun MP80 Juice Exractor- WILL NOT WORK IN THE USA
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am a juicing fanatic! So naturally I wanted to try all of the juicers and comparison shop before I bought my own. I must say, the Braun Juice Extractor takes the cake! Here's why:
1. This Juicer is easy to assemble: the Juiceman Jr always was difficult to connect all of the parts together.
2. This Juicer is easy to DISassemble: Trying to take the rotating mesh blade off of the Juiceman Jr is a pain (and can be painfull!)
3. The design is VERY spacesaving and ergonomically correct: The Juiceman Jr has a large, unnatached bin and normal glass that doesn't fit or store well with the juicer unit. The Braun Juice Extractor however, fits together in all one base unit, and even the pouring bin that recieves the juice snuggly fits against the juicer unit.
4. The REALLY cool foam strainer: This is the best part! If you've ever juiced, you know what a pain the foam at the top is! You can't get rid of the foam without actually straining it or scooping it away; you can kiss that foam goodbye with the strainer!
5. The detachable tray at the top allows you to hold your fruit and veggies without messing up other bowls and cutting boards.
6. It's just better that all the rest! Try it, and I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do!

Juiceman Jr. Elite Pro JM211 Juice Extractor Review

Juiceman Jr. Elite Pro JM211 Juice Extractor
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was very skeptical about juicing and received this as a gift. I found that this juicer very easy to use and clean. You can even wash the accessories in the dishwasher. My energy level has increased dramatically after using my juicer and I don't know how I ever got along without it! I definitely recommend this juicer to a beginner who would like to try out adding juices to their diet.

Whether you're into nutrition-laden wheatgrass tonics or really superb fresh orange juice, a juicer is a great way to go. Fruits and vegetables are an essential part of a healthy diet, and additive-free fresh juice is a convenient and quick alternative to eating all of them whole. This Juiceman Junior is best for the more casual juice enthusiast, but is still plenty powerful and quick. Two latches hold the juice bowl, blade basket, and cover on the base unit, which has a footprint comparable to the average blender. Produce cut to the appropriate size goes in the feed tube, then is gently pressed into the blade basket with a plunger. Juice pours out one spout, while the pulp--including seeds and skin--shoots out into a separate pulp basket. The low speed setting is for softer produce such as oranges and apples, while the high speed setting takes care of harder fruits and vegetables such as carrots and pineapples. Enjoy the juice and use the pulp in recipes such as those for carrot cake. A basic cookbook and audiotape of juicing tips are included.

Samson GB-9001 Juice Extractor Review

Samson GB-9001 Juice Extractor
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this juicer expecting it to out-perform my current machine. However, it's just too much trouble to assemble the screw and caps and cut up vegetables and feed them in the hopper and plunge them in, slowly. With my old high speed blender that I use for carrot juices, it's simply a matter of pushing whole carrots into the top slot. Then open and clean out. Takes a minute. In sum, I would say this Samson machine may be useful for something, to someone. But please, if only I could have tried it out first.

Ninja Kitchen System 1100 - Model NJ602 Review

Ninja Kitchen System 1100 - Model NJ602
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got this for my birthday from my husband and son, they are good boys! It was something we had looked at on the TV ads and kept thinking on and surprise, I did get one! I was so happily surprised with the way this contraption did absolutely everything they claimed on the TV ad, although we're not normally the infomercial buying kind of people, we wait for them to hit the stores to trek the "As Seen on TV Isle".
I always start off with a warning when needed, so WARNING, THE BLADES ARE FREAKING SHARP, My husbands already cut himself at least three times just barely touching them, always-always-always keep the blade locked inside the containers, the other pieces can float around your drawers or wherever you keep them, but the blades, keep them locked inside the pitcher/blender units. The Pitchers are also plastic, they don't mar or cut easily, but the blades can and will scar them up, so careful keeping your pitchers shiny and happy.
When washing, we place the blade in the dishwasher first, then the pitcher upside down on top of the blade, relative to which blade it belongs to, this keeps you from cutting yourself loading or unloading the dishes. You get the idea.. THE BLADES ARE FREAKING SHARP, AND THEY'RE EXTREMELY CLOSE TOGETHER SO IT'S VERY EASY TO CUT YOURSELF. It's like a saw, you don't grab it on the jagged side, and you don't grab scissors open and in the middle, so don't just go grabbing the blades here people, use the ends to handle it and keep yourself cut free.
Enough about the sharpness of it, because if you didn't notice, IT'S FREAKING SHARP, really now, moving on..
Construction: This is very well constructed, the grade of the plastics and the materials used to manufacture the Ninja seem very well made.
What you'll usually get the with the System, if it includes extras or perks you'll have to check the description or with the seller:
1 Large Pitcher
1 Small Pitcher
1 Large and 1 Small Very Sharp Blades
1 Large and 1 Small Dough Paddles (not sharp)
1 Small Dough Hook (also not sharp)
The set also includes Two (2) distinctive locking lids that cannot be interchanged, although they are identical in size I believe, each with spouts, the lid for the small pitcher has a strainer built in. The locking mechanism is very important if you have little ones, or a clumsy spouse, you want to store your blades inside their respective pitcher, I cannot say that enough.
Makes a fabulous Margarita, a Colada, any Frozen Alcoholic Drink this guy handles with a smile, Throw in your favs, add ice, blended inebriating bliss. For some of you this might be enough and you can just hit Buy Now, for others I've covered a lot here so feel free to read on.
We crush ice, I make slushies and snow cones for the kids sometimes, other times I just like the take of the ice alone, nothing added. There was a time there I was doing this daily at first, several times a day in fact, there is nothing like obliterated ice. It tastes exactly like snow! There is a drawback, you cannot pour obliterated ice from the pitcher, and the blades are extremely sharp and in the way, carefully remove the blade and scoop out the ice if that's what you'd like. Ice alone. For this and most drinks you want to use your Tall Pitcher.
I will warn you NOT to crush ice then add cold liquids, it needs to be one action, Ice + Liquid at the same time, otherwise, if you don't add enough liquid to your Ninja to the crushed ice then it will freeze together and make it difficult to remove from the Ninja and virtually useless to you because you've turned your "snow" into a block that's surrounded some EXTREMELY SHARP Blades, have fun thawing that mess out. There is one exception, an iced Latte or Coffee sort drink, using hot liquids, this wont freeze up your ice and liquid, that should be a duh there..
Remember: Hot + Frozen = blended bliss, Cold + Frozen = Nightmarish block of hell..
Speaking of making your own latte, read along 'til the end and I'll give you my very own Vanilla Latte Recipe, taste's amazingly similar to your favorite coffee shop on every corner, and this will cost you about $0.25 to make, I won't mention their name.
Making Guacamole, you want to be careful making dips or other things that are meant to have a texture that adds to the appetizing nature of the food, make sure you're not pureeing your foods. Texture is nearly as important as Taste is, unless of course you're feeding a baby and want to puree the foods. My husband pureed some Guacamole, it wasn't the greatest. Tasted fine, texture wise was too smooth.
Making Dough, for those of you that are Gluten Free using this to make your dough is amazingly simple. Especially when you're dealing with various types of flours and want to make sure you've mixed the mixture thoroughly. I've used many different recipes for Gluten Free mixes, including cakes, cookies, pancakes, and pizza dough, all turned out perfectly wonderful, well aside from the fact they don't have Gluten in them (which I terribly miss). Again, with baking too, textures are often necessary in the baking process, read the recipe carefully and make sure if it says the end result should be lumpy that it is.
We make quite a few things in our Ninja, things we would normally use a blender for smoothies (which we did toss out, rather donate, our Blender when we got the Ninja, I'm not a clutter person). Do exactly as it says, add frozen fruit, instead of ice and it taste's fantastic!
For you Gluten Free and Lactose Free people, we found using Coconut Milk (So Delicious or Silk brands) and a little Coconut Flour adds quite a bit of fiber and Coconut Sugar tastes fantastic too.. (both of which you can find at your local health food store, it is a little pricey, but if you're on this GF diet you know it's expensive). Add 3 Cups of Coconut Milk, about 3 Tbs of Coconut Sugar, a 1/4 Cup of Coconut Flour (for Fiber), and about 2 Cups (to taste) of frozen mixed fruit and you have a fantastic smoothie on your hands.
This is MY Latte recipe, I didn't take it from any company, my comparison is simply that it tastes like a very well known brand. I do fiddle around in the kitchen and I do have a lot of great recipes I've come to love just by playing around with ingredients.
Vanilla Latte Recipe: 2 Servings, about 16 to 20 oz each +/-
Large Ninja Pitcher
Large Dough Paddle (Black one)
1/3 Cup of Ground Dark or Medium Coffee
2 Cups of Water, or to 4 Mark on your coffee machine
3 Cups of Milk
2 Tbs of Pure Vanilla, or imitation, it doesn't really matter
2 to 3 Tbs of Sugar in the Raw sugar, NOT HEAPING (we use nearly 3, about 2 & 3/4 Tbs), you could also use regular sugar, although I'm not sure what the variation would be, it's finer so be careful you don't make it too sweet.
In the Microwave bring 3 Cups of Whole or 2% milk to a boil, about 3 & 1/2 to 4 Minutes
Pour the Milk into the Large Pitcher
Add Vanilla and Sugar
Turn Ninja on DOUGH!!
** BE careful of the speed here, you will end up with hot milk shooting out the top if you use any faster speed** I will not be liable for failure to follow my directions.
Let that mix for about 3 to 4 minutes or while you brew your coffee
1/3 Cup of Ground Dark or Medium Coffee
Fill your coffee Maker with water to the 4 mark, which is I believe 2 cups give or take
Once you've Made your coffee in your Coffee Maker, and You've made your milk in your Ninja
Pour 3/4 to 1 Cup COFFEE (depending on your taste, start with less you can add more but you cannot take away) into each Cup
Open the Ninja and remove the Dough Blade leaving the lid off
Pour the Milk on top of the Coffee equally going back and forth between the two cups until you reach foam, then pour the foam equally into each cup spooning or using a spatula to get it all out and viola, Vanilla Latte.
Careful, it is HOT!
Add more Coffee to taste if you want..
All in all the positives of this product outweigh the danger of the blades in my opinion, as long as you're careful, keep the blades locked in the pitchers at all times I think you'll be extremely satisfied with your purchase.
That's all I have, I hope to have helped you with your purchasing decision. Please don't forget to use the review voting buttons if my review was helpful to you.

I ALREADY *HAVE* AN ACME JUICER, OVER 30 YRS OLD, -EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE HERE.... AND MY *OLD* ACME JUICER IS STILL WORKING GREAT. BUT THE NEW ONE I BOUGHT HERE ON AMAZON IS A TRAIN WRECK!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. IF I KNEW HOW TO GET MY MONEY BACK I WOULD... BUT THE WHOLE PROCEDURE MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE. I'M USING IT AS A DOOR STOP.

Sunpentown CL-010 Multi-Function Miller and Juice Extractor Review

Sunpentown CL-010 Multi-Function Miller and Juice Extractor
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I use this to make nice vegetable juice every time. It separates the juice from the pulp very well and I can not taste any pulp in the finished juice. I use the miller to make soy bean milk and rice flour some times. The motor runs smoothly and not too loud at all. I've had this for over a year and it still runs great. The only complaint is that it is not that quick to clean if you don't have the dish washer machine. It takes me about 3 minutes to clean each time I use this (scrubbing the pulp out of the filter mesh is the only part that takes long, the other components are easy to deal with).

A welcome addition to any healthy kitchen, this multi-functional appliance works great for extracting vitamin-rich juice from fresh fruits and vegetables and for grinding beans and grains--like soybeans to make protein-rich soy milk or sprouted grains to make homemade bread. The unit features a powerful 350-watt, 3600 RPM motor and a durable stainless-steel grinding blade that perform effectively, retaining the nutritional value of foods. Plus, it runs quietly--no need to wake up the whole family when making orange juice in the morning. Fresh juice dispenses through the front spout, while pulp and remnants get filtered out and disposed of automatically into a separate dreg container in the back of the unit. Other highlights include motor thermo control, a micro-switch for safety, and an easy-to-clean design. A recipe book and instruction video come included. Housed in durable ABS/PP plastic, the miller and juice extractor measures approximately 14 by 21 by 23 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

Waring Juicing Center, Quite White/Stainless
Average Reviews:

I have owned this juicer for over a year now and have had to change the blade twice. It does a good job most of the times, but when you start mixing soft and hard fruits and vegetables simultaneously and in a certain order, the unit will start vibrating to the point where the blade will make contact with the metal column where vegetables/fruits are introduced. The result: the maching will grind the blade and damage the performance of it. Try the following combination: apple, carrots, and grapes. Say bye bye to your blade.... (a $40 value).

Professional Series JCR 700-Watt 2-Speed Juice Extractor
Average Reviews:

I purchased this juicer first. Used once, had to send off to the manufacture for repairs as the switch burn out. The 700 watt didn't seem to have enough power to handle juicing. The juicer was noisy, jumped around on the counter when feeding the fruit, veggies in the shute. The only good thing about this was the juice glasses & juice jug included. A good value but not worth the money to spend. Save yourself the huge disapointment.

A welcome addition to any healthy kitchen, this professional juice extractor transforms fresh fruits and vegetables into delicious, all-natural juice in seconds--a nice alternative to store-bought varieties that often come laden with artificial sugar and preservatives. Simply choose from low or high speed settings with a turn of the knob; insert whole apples, pears, cucumbers, or other produce into the extra-large feed chute; then gently and slowly press down on the food pusher. The unit's powerful 700-watt motor and stainless-steel blades break down the fibers, while its stainless-steel filter ensures only pure, pulp-free juice gets dispensed from the spout. Pulp ends up in a good-sized pulp container in the back. Pulp can be disposed of, composted, or, better yet, used to flavor soups, sauces, breads, cakes, and more. A 34-ounce juice jug with a generous handle and a drip-free pour spout comes included, as well as four Anchor Hocking juice glasses for serving up beverages in style. I lost my last juicer to fire and started looking for a small good quality juicer. Waring sounded familiar and the juicer looked good. However i am so disappointed.
My BJ120 Model 31JC25 is short of junk. Low quality light plastic which wobbles right and left and spills the juice. Watch the video, that's exactly it. I don't recommend this product at all. Please don't pay such a high price for this. Maybe for $25 it will be ok. Mind you, the motor may be strong and not too noisy. I'm trying to be fair.
I did not buy it from Amazon since Amazon does not mail this type of merchandise to PR. I bought it in internet though. Did not return it because i was going on for a long stay in Europe and could not manage it at the time.
